Syrah - 2022
Tasting notes
Across the board, 2022 was an excellent growing season for Syrah. Our Syrahs all underwent an extensive fermentation trial and resulted in some great components for blending. This Syrah included 30% stem inclusion, and 2% co-fermentation with Viognier. The resulting wine features aromatics bursting with plums and mixed berry bramble and a palate with medium tannin, nice acidic structure, and a balanced, lasting finish.
Double-Gold and Finalist in the 2022 Governor’s Cup Competition, an annual competition to determine the best wine produced in the state of Colorado.
