Tasting notes
Sourced entirely from our premier Hawk Ridge Vineyard, this Malbec greets with ripe blackberry and plum on the nose. The palate mirrors the great fruit on the nose and also showcases a mid palate of medium acidity and tannin, giving way to a lasting finish of tobacco, leather, and plum syrup. Because of the lighter tannin and rich fruit, this wine drinks well young. As it ages the acidity and tannin will recede, leaving a wine that will become darker and softer.
