Boulder Star - 2024
Tasting notes
Boulder Star is an annual partnership between BookCliff and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. BookCliff donates proceeds of each bottle sale to the Chamber in order to help fund the Boulder Star on Flagstaff mountain during the holiday season. The wine is a Bordeaux-style blend, featuring aromatics of dried herbs, rose water, and red cherry. The palate has bright acidity and stiff tannin, giving the wine a great structure that is expected in a Bordeaux-style blend. The finish is subtle, without the heavy presence of secondary flavors from new oak usage. The fruit is the star, from start to finish.
