Tasting notes
The intention behind our 2022 Malbec is to showcase the abundant fruit and bright acidity that is natural to Malbec grown in Colorado. This wine spent only 6 months aging from primary fermentation until bottling, and spent no time in oak barrels. As a result, the medium-plus acidity highlights the palate of fresh raspberries, ripe apple, and black berry. The wine is lighter in tannin and therefore approachable and easy-drinking, however, doesn’t not lack complexity. Drink young! This is a wine that benefits greatly from freshness.
