Sauv Blanc - 2023
Tasting notes
The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc strikes a nice middle ground between the opposite ends of the spectrum of typical Sauvignon Blanc. The nose shows some of the grassy aromatics as well as the tropical fruits characteristic of Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is lean and balanced, with nice acidic structure as well as well-rounded tropical fruits and a hint of toasted oak from a short stave inclusion in the tank. Additionally, the stave inclusion makes the finish very dry despite the abundance of sweeter, tropical fruits on the palate.
